What is implant revision surgery?
Implant revision surgery is the process of analyzing the cause when an existing implant develops inflammation, mobility, pain, a fractured prosthesis, or positioning problems, and building a new treatment plan from there.
It is not simply a matter of removing the implant and placing a new one. The cause of the failure, the extent of bone loss, and the condition of the neighboring teeth and the bite all need to be evaluated together.
Using precision 3D CT diagnosis, we assess the condition of the existing implant, the amount of bone, the extent of inflammation, and the position of the nerves before deciding whether re-implantation is possible and how treatment should proceed.
